Writer/Filmmaker

Gretchen Cion is a writer, educator, and filmmaker currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She recently received an Honorable Mention with the Erma Bombeck Humorist in Residence Program. Gretchen has spent the last twenty years teaching creative writing to students across the country, presently teaching through The Intuitive Writing Project, a writing-based empowerment program for girls and gender expansive youth. She is currently working on three projects: a novel, a pilot for TV, and a collection of essays around shame for which she has endless material.
