Gretchen Cion is a writer, educator, and filmmaker who holds an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English from San Francisco State University, in addition to an M.Ed. from Hunter College, CUNY. She has spent the last twenty years teaching writing to students across the country, presently teaching through Berkeley City College. She also teaches small-group, online creative writing classes for girls and gender-expansive youth.*
Currently, Gretchen is crafting three projects: a novel, a pilot for TV, and a collection of essays around shame, for which she has endless material.
